Dry Ice Cold Trap
Cold traps are a great way to extend the time between vacuum oven rebuilds and oil changes. With this style of a cold trap, the cold is provided by filling the interior reservoir with ice. No additional mechanical refrigeration or power is required.
Got Ice? Save money with this “ice bucket” style cold trap. Fill the internal stainless steel reservoir with a cold slurry mix of ice/ alcohol/ dry ice and set inside the larger steel vessel. The cold surface of the cold trap attracts and condenses the material that would otherwise be ingested by the vacuum pump.
Provides large KF-25 size inlets and outlets for the cold trap.
This does not impede vapor flow.
