This hollow hex head stopper is made from borosilicate glass and has a 24/40 fitting with a flat hexagonal head.
The hexagonal head prevents it from rolling when placed on its side.
Flat surfaces also permit the stopper to be inverted and placed on end, preventing possible contamination of the ground surface.
